Why does the curl have to be considered Puerto Rican? Why can’t they be just curls? As someone who is half Puerto Rican that kind of singles out one specific heritage of a person who is more than one heritage. Not trying to start anything but from a Puerto Rican perspective it’s kind of racist and objectifying. You do not hear people going around saying “Your Caucasian curls are showing” or “Your black curls are showing etc. If you don’t want people saying that about you, then please don’t say it about other people. Curls are curls no matter what.

it’s puerto rican curls because lana is half rican and has even called her curls “puerto rican curls” one time on twitter, i believe. i wasn’t trying to single anything out nor does this caption objectifies anything remotely racist so please don’t try to make something out of something that clearly isn’t here, on my gifset. i dislike when people misinterpret something and especially try to make it out as racist because i’m not even the smallest bit racist for godsakes. nothing pisses me off more than racist comments so why would i even? i normally don’t call anyone out on stuff or bother stating what’s on my mind when people add unnecessary things to my gifset but this really upset me just because of the word racist. get real. please dont’ reblog my gifset if you do not agree with it.
