I wasn’t shocked (at the sacrifice) because this two women have sacrificed a lot for one another. They do have a friendship that is very unique and surprised them both to some degree, like “We started hating one another and now all we do is protect one another”. It’s been evolving into that so I wasn’t shocked at all. At times Regina feels a unique kinship.. sisterly bond with Emma. There’s A CARE, A LOVE for her, she’s VERY PROTECTIVE of HER (Emma). So I wasn’t shocked, because IT FALLS IN LINE WITH THEIR RELATIONSHIP.
